A Review of Policies and Regulations of Green Infrastructure Establishment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur (KL), a capital city of Malaysia has experienced significant development that led to the fragmentation urban green spaces. Even though infrastructure (GI) may address problem space fragmentation, there is notable gap in extent which existing policies and regulations support GI KL. Hence, set pertaining patch corridor establishment KL reviewed this study. In total, 77 documents related might contribute spatially were studied using thematic analysis. Next, identified elements themed together based on regulations. The outcomes revealed most focused patches with 15 categories, followed by corridors (three categories) components (one category). A typology Malaysia’s from prescribed reported findings catalyse planning for more sustainable future.
